Gorgeous stretch Leavers lace trim in a two-tone leaf design. Dark pink throughout the center and bright red on the edges. It's made in Calais, France, by one of the world's most respected lace companies. Their laces are used by top fashion designers and high-end lingerie brands. - 8 1/4" (212mm) Wide - Polyamide Elasthane Polyester - Leavers lace - Made in France Leavers lace is the apex of modern-day laces, made by a laborious process involving many bobbins on a well-preserved loom. Leavers looms are no longer manufactured since they are so costly to operate, but they produce laces of unrivaled delicacy and beauty. (Raschel lace was created in an effort to mimic leavers lace less expensively, and in some cases raschel does a beautiful job of that.)
