From the 60s era here is a pant suit consisting of Capri style pants and a sleeveless top. The set was made in Barbados - you can imagine this being worn during Carnival or while dancing the Ska or doing the Jump Up. The top has a defined seam with two panels below the seam - there is an opening both at the front and back. Both pieces are printed in a wild abstract pattern in colous of yellow, red, blue, black and white. The pants do up with a metal zipper at the side and the top has a button closure at the back neckline with a peek-a-boo-slit. Both pieces are unlined. Label: Capriana Made in Barbados 10 Engineered For The West Indian Figure. Material: Cotton in a lighter weight linen texture, conceived for hotter climates Sizing: Size 10 is indicated, but please rely on the following measurements for fit: Top: Shoulders: 14” across seam-to-seam Bust: 36”, taken under the arms Seam: 32” Hip or Bottom: 36" Overall length: 23 1/2“ Pants: Waist: 28”/29” Hips: 36" Length: 35” Leg Inseam: 27 1/2” Condition: It is in very good condition with no signs of use - if this was used, it was only once as it is very crisp. This set looks like it was well stored over the years. This is a rather unique outfit - bright summer colours, fun style, sure to be noticed!
