Shibori is a Japanese resist technique that we've used for this yarn. Bands of white on blue knits or crochets up as distributed speckles in a project. This artisan superwash yarn is 85% extra-fine merino and 15% nylon, making it both soft and durable enough for any kind of knitting or crochet. Hand-dyed in Tacoma, WA.
Shibori is a Japanese resist dyeing technique that has been practiced for thousands of years and is the inspiration for this yarn.
The bands of white on the deep inky blue knits or crochets up as distributed white dots throughout a project, leading to what we think is a very cool effect.
