On 7th Sep this year I happened to buy an incomplete Mattel Bravestarr Thunder Stick figure without his hat. It is not easy to find the hat only but only available with MIB items with high price tag so I bought a Big Jim cowboy hat to go with it hoping it would fit but later I found it is far too big for this guy. So I decided to make one for this poor soul but based on the cartoon style design. However I would make it look like the other original hats in the series – that is definite touch of hand sculpt traces with imperfection here and there – well, I can only do that anyway! And toy like approach not as scale model point of view – that means I am taking an easy path! Ha Ha!! I will quickly make one up as a prototype and see if it is worth investing my time further. I feel very impatient to see the result already but unfortunately the Milliput takes time curing and I have to do it in two stage sculpting and final painting. No matter what, it will be fun. I should watch the show while I am doing it!
