It operates in Nursing and other areas of Health Sciences whose education will you be authorized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education or competent, according to plans and programs themselves and in compliance with the fundamental principles of the Red Cross . The main objective is to train students for the practice of nursing profession, training throughout life and to promote the development of the region in which it operates. To achieve these goals the school has sought to increase the number and diversity of courses it, meeting all of them adapted to the regulations of Bologna. The educational project is oriented towards a human and civic education for professional achievement, the socio-cultural integration, the training: technical and professional; lifelong; scientific-technological and cultural. At the level of individual dimension, it is proposed to form each of its students for responsible freedom, maturity in order to make personal decisions, the openness to the future, flexibility in changing attitudes and adapt to new situations, the sensitivity to local, regional, national and international problems and personal originality including a critical attitude. Given the universal nature of human care we consider of utmost importance train students according to the Professional Code of Ethics of the Association of Nurses and other legislation in force. They are also milestones in the training provided, the principles of the Red Cross, international humanitarian law and the Geneva Convention and additional protocols. Given the demands on the institutions of higher education and the labor market, the school seeks to maintain a faculty with diverse academic and quality, covering different areas of knowledge and willing to give their best in the practice of teaching, in order to prepare their students for the practice of human care, technical and scientifically appropriate to the needs of individuals, both in terms of health promotion, disease prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and social integration in the family, at school , at work and in the community. Also the formalization of cooperation protocols with entities in the field of higher education, education, health and other entities representing the community, national and international, in the provision of training and mobility of students and teachers, constitute as development strategies school and promote continuous improvement of teaching quality. The School confers the Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor and Master in other areas of health sciences that in future you may be authorized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education or jurisdiction in accordance with the law and the Diploma courses not awarding Academic Degree conferred but Professional title.
