We are super excited to sell Antonio's incredible backbores and instruments at Austin Custom Brass. This is our first real offering outside of the ACB line and since his line is very different than ours we thought it would be great to add them to our roster! All AR backbores utilize the Warburton threading making them compatible with most other major manufacturers (ACB, Warburton, Pickett, Greg Black, etc). The founding concept of all Resonance mouthpieces is to offer the player a back pressure level and the harmonic spread that their body and his skills demand. We DON'T want the player to acclimate to our mouthpiece, we want to serve the player with the best solution they feel to be the right one. We've been through all that crazy stuff and we concluded we must not be told what to think, do or feel, we want to be in control. MATERIALS Brass, Phosphor Bronze, Nickel Silver We really have a wide selection of materials to start from. Some are pretty common and we know how they behave. Some others are pretty exotics and can offer both an increase in performance or a drastic change in tone quality. My favorite material? Phosphor Bronze! Sounds gorgeous, feels great and it's a lot easier and more stable to play than regular brass. A real gem! If you have additional questions, please send us an email!
